Our Privacy Policy is intended to describe to you how and what data we collect, and how and why we use your personal data. It also describes options we provide for you to access, update or otherwise take control of your personal data that we process.

How we use your Personal Information

For the farmers, managers, and affiliates that we represent and work with: We only collect business plans, operational requirements, good for sale, and financial data as is required to verify the legitimacy of your business, prospective or not, so that we can in good faith finance your operation or sell your good via the Sustainable Producers Site. Likewise, we only collect your financial information in order to transfer owed and or necessary funds for your start up or owed commissions.

For all other visitors and users to the Site, to include farmers and manager for their personal use: Other than data necessary to complete an e-commerce transaction of goods for sale, the only other form of data collection will be done through optional surveys. While this data is optional to give, it is crucial in order to know what crops farmers should invest in growing, and specifically where.

Who we share your Personal Information with

We will NOT sell, trade or rent your name or personal information to anyone else. We DO NOT sell, trade, rent or provide outside access to our mailing list at all.

Any information collected through surveys is broken down to only show city/town, name of crop, and quantity of crop per week. This data is then shared with the farmers we support so that they will have a better idea of how and where to expand their operations.

Sustainable Producers will not release your personal information to authorities unless required by law, search warrant, court order, subpoena, or fraud investigation.

Except as otherwise stated in this policy, Sustainable Producers will share your information with third parties only to the extent necessary to provide the services and products requested by you. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
