While we are open to supporting farmers of all varieties, as long as they use natural and sustainable methods, our main focus is the hydroponic and aquaponic community. This system is efficient, and compact enough to fit in any backyard or flat roof-top for those that are city-bound. Even if you don't know any farmers, send anybody our way who wold be interested in starting their first small business and we will do what we can to set them up for success from start to finish.
Without farmers, Sustainable Producers cannot exist. Our whole purpose is to ensure the success and growth of the farming community by setting up new farmers for success, as well as coaching and assisting with the transition of older farmers into more lucrative and stable markets. However, we cannot do this is farmers do not know about us and how we can assist them through our various services, discounts, and interest free financial assistance.
Farmers' Markets are the biggest hubs of local agricultural commerce for any community. Even if the farmers participating at a particular market do not want to advertise through us, the advertisement of the venue alone will bring more traffic to them; and that is good enough for us.
Many Farmers' Markets are also understaffed or lack critical online infrastructures. With the aid of our e-media, e-marketing, and customer service expertise we can also provide these critical services to a market's Manager so that they will save money as compared to hiring a full time staff.
Knowledge is power, and that power manifests as stability for our farmers. Even if you do not manage to recruit a Farmers' Market on our behalf, knowing what types of produce the are short on or selling large quantities of will greatly assist with attracting new farmers to a local area, or assisting current ones to adjust their business model.
These surveys can, and should, also be solicited to local restaurants, businesses, and private individuals. While it is not required to collect the private or identifying information in order to complete a survey, it will be of benefit to the person or business as they will receive a discount through us once said surveyed produce becomes available.
